Cameron and Melat's Beautiful Beginning

Cameron and Melat’s wedding on September 5, 2026, was a beautiful celebration of love, family, friendship, and timeless style. Hosted at The Springs Edmond, their wedding was filled with thoughtful details and personal touches that perfectly reflected this sweet couple. From elegant calla lilies and clean lines to the warm glow of floating candles, their wedding day was romantic, sophisticated, and full of joy.

The ceremony took place inside the chapel at The Springs Edmond, with Cameron and Melat exchanging vows in front of a picturesque window overlooking the venue’s perfectly manicured lawn. The beautiful view created a peaceful and romantic backdrop as they said “I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends.

There is something so special about seeing a couple you've worked with throughout the planning process finally reach this moment. After all of the conversations, decisions, timelines, and details, everything comes down to those few minutes when two people promise to spend their lives together.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way outside for an outdoor reception filled with fun, food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to celebrate. The reception design continued the couple’s clean and elegant aesthetic, with beautiful calla lilies and floating candles adding a romantic touch to the tables.

Guests enjoyed a fully stocked bar throughout the celebration, along with a fun popcorn bar that gave everyone a tasty treat to enjoy. A selfie mirror provided another fun way for guests to capture memories throughout the evening.

And the celebration was about more than beautiful décor. Family, friendship, and community were woven throughout the day. The Divine Nine was represented during the celebration, with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. represented among the couple’s loved ones—a special nod to the communities that are part of their lives.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening came when Cameron and Melat made their grand entrance. Rather than simply entering the reception, the newlyweds walked down the staircase together and made their way directly into their first dance.

It was such a beautiful moment—and a perfect way to transition from their ceremony into their reception as husband and wife.

The evening continued with heartfelt toasts, laughter, dancing, and time spent surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.

The groom’s brother and best man shared a heartfelt toast honoring the couple, while the bride’s sister and maid of honor shared a special toast celebrating Melat and Cameron. Having those closest to them stand up and share memories, love, and well wishes made the celebration even more personal.

Those are the moments that make a wedding feel like more than just a beautiful event. They tell the story of the people standing at the center of it all and the family and friends who have helped shape their lives.

As a wedding planner, one of my favorite parts of the job is seeing all of the little details come together to create one unforgettable day.

For Cameron and Melat, there were many moving pieces happening behind the scenes—from vendor arrivals and setup to ceremony coordination, reception details, catering, bar service, photography, entertainment, and keeping the timeline moving throughout the day.

But they didn't have to worry about those details.

They trusted me to take care of the logistics so they could focus on each other and enjoy the celebration with their family and friends.

And that trust meant so much to me.

Cameron and Melat are such a sweet couple, and I was truly honored that they chose Kiss and Tell Weddings to be part of one of the most important days of their lives. It is a privilege to be welcomed into a couple’s wedding journey, and I never take that responsibility lightly.

Their kind words after the wedding made that even more meaningful. They shared that they had felt overwhelmed trying to plan their wedding before deciding to bring in a wedding planner. When we met, they knew I was the right person to help them—and I am so grateful they trusted me with their day.

From the chapel ceremony overlooking the beautiful lawn to their staircase grand entrance, candlelit reception tables, fully stocked bar, popcorn bar, selfie mirror, heartfelt toasts, and a packed dance floor, Cameron and Melat’s wedding was a beautiful celebration from beginning to end.

Most importantly, it was a day filled with love, laughter, family, friendship, and memories they will carry with them for years to come.

Congratulations, Cameron and Melat! Thank you for trusting Kiss and Tell Weddings to help bring your wedding vision to life. It was truly an honor to be a part of your love story and to celebrate this beautiful beginning with you.

Here’s to a lifetime of love, laughter, and countless beautiful moments together!
